The Samarkand region hosted a two-day inter-regional industrial fair "PROM PRO Expo 2023" and a forum of industrialists organized by the Ministry of investment, industry and trade, the Digital Transformation Center under the ministry and the Regional Municipality.

This event aims to expand cooperative relations between large network enterprises and small and private business enterprises for the supply of import substitutes.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Adviser to the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Galina Saidova and officials of the Samarkand region.

About one and a half thousand enterprises showed their products in the following directions at the Fair, which was held at The Exhibition Center “Sof Expo Samarkand” in the district of Jomboy.

- Tourism
- Food industry
- Carpet products

As part of the fair, there were also 5 panel sessions and 6 different themed presentations. Earlier, such territorial fairs were held in the regions of Jizzakh and Bukhara, and will continue throughout the Republic until the end of the year.
