On October 20-21, 2022, the regional inter-industry fair was organized in Navoi city with the cooperation of the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the municipality of Navoi region and the Center for digital transformation.

The opening ceremony was attended by Normat Tursunov, acting governor of Navoi region, Olimkhan Rustamov, Deputy Minister of investments and foreign trade, Kuvondiq Sanakulov, chairman of the board of NKMK JSC, heads of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs and media representatives.

The Fair was attended by 1,613 enterprises, including 41 industries and 1,572 regional production enterprises. It featured products from mining metallurgy, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Industry and building materials industry. At the same time, energy, metallurgical and other enterprises also participated in the fair with their products.

In the framework of the fair, 507 cooperation agreements were concluded with a total of 512.1 billion soums through the Electronic cooperation portal of the Digital Transformation Center, as well as 2 memoranda of 1.8 billion soums between small businesses and private entrepreneurs who expressed a desire to produce import substitutes.

In turn, during the fair, practical assistance was provided by The Specialists of the Digital Transformation Center to negotiate and conclude cooperation agreements in the form of B2B.

It should be noted that a number of reforms are being introduced in the chapter on the development of entrepreneurship in our country, the creation of a healthy competitive environment. In its place, of course, it is of great importance to support domestic manufacturers, promote national brands and achieve the strengthening of their position in the international arena, which is an integral part of economic development.
