On August 25-26, 2022, a regional inter-sectoral industry fair was held in Nukus in cooperation with the Zhukurg Kengesi and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Digital Transformation Center.

The event was opened by the Minister of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Bakhitjan Khabibullayev. It was attended by leaders of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and media representatives.

More than 1,410 enterprises, including 130 industries and 1,268 regional production enterprises, took part in the fair. It featured in-depth processing of natural and mineral Resources, products from the petrochemical industry, building materials, electricity and electrical equipment, as well as products from the textile, furniture and food industries.

It should be noted that within the framework of the fair, 607 cooperation agreements were concluded with a total of 203.2 billion soums through the Electronic cooperative portal of the Digital Transformation Center, as well as 18 memoranda of 25.1 billion soums between small and medium-sized businesses that expressed a desire to produce import substitutes.

At the same time, thematic presentations aimed at increasing industrial potential in networks and regions were held during the fair, as well as meetings with local producers in B2B format.

At the end of the fair, active participants were presented with souvenirs by the organizers.
