On September 8-9, 2022, the regional inter-industry fair was held at the Youth Sports Complex in Urgench, Khorezm region, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the municipality of Khorezm region and the Digital Transformation Center.

The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of the Khorezm region Farkhod Ermanov, Deputy Minister of investment and foreign trade Nazimjon Kholmurodov, heads of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and media representatives.

The main purpose of holding this fair is to develop cooperative relations in the production of industrial products, to create favorable conditions for mutual cooperation between economic entities.

The Fair was attended by 2,263 enterprises, including 212 industries and 2,051 regional production enterprises. It featured textile products, transport and logistics, automotive, agricultural machinery, furniture industry for the tourism industry. At the same time, the enterprises of mining, pharmaceutical, construction, food industry were involved.

In the framework of the fair, 484 cooperation agreements were concluded with a total of 256.6 billion soums through the Electronic cooperative portal of the Digital Transformation Center, as well as 2 memoranda of 5.4 billion soums between small businesses and private entrepreneurs who expressed a desire to produce import substitutes.

It should be noted that such measures carried out positively affect the industrial sphere of our country, promoting the creation of jobs, improving the processing of raw materials, establishing the production of new types of products, finding a market for the products of small business entities, especially newly established enterprises.
