On September 22-23, 2022, the regional inter-industry fair organized by the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the municipality of Bukhara region and the Center for digital transformation was held in Bukhara.

The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov, heads of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and media representatives.

The Fair was attended by 2,022 enterprises, including 239 industries and 1,729 regional production enterprises, and featured products from the textile, oil and gas industry, rural and water industry, tourism industry, and the Karakol sector. The event was also attended by enterprises producing pharmaceuticals, furniture, chemicals, food industries.

In the framework of this fair, 575 cooperation agreements were concluded with a total of 606 billion soums through the Electronic cooperation portal of the Digital Transformation Center, as well as 65 memorandums of 155.4 billion soums between small businesses and private entrepreneurs who expressed a desire to produce import substitutes.

The purpose of holding this event is to further increase the industrial potential of the economic sectors and regional enterprises, stimulate the production of import substitutes, expand localization, and further strengthen the inter-sectoral industrial cooperation relations between the economic sectors and regional enterprises.
