On July 1-2, 2022, the regional inter-sectoral industry fair was held in the building of the Enterprise “Planetary fountain” LLC in Andijan region, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the municipality of Andijan region and the Digital Transformation Center.

The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of Andijan region Shuhratbek Abdurahmonov, Deputy Minister of investment and foreign trade Olimkhan Rustamov, heads of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and media representatives.

The Fair was attended by more than 1,500 enterprises, including 97 industries and 1,438 regional production enterprises, and featured products from the construction materials, textile, automotive, electrical and pharmaceutical industries. The event was also attended by businesses in the energy, leather, silk, furniture and food industries.

In the framework of the fair, 497 cooperation agreements were concluded with a total of 312.7 billion soums through the Electronic cooperation portal of the Digital Transformation Center, as well as 8 memoranda of 5.2 billion soums with small businesses and private businesses expressing a desire to produce import substitutes.

In addition, within the framework of the fair, meetings and negotiations were held in the form of presentations of projects aimed at increasing the potential of the regions in economic and other spheres, ensuring their development in all respects, as well as open dialogue with domestic producers and foreign investors.

It should be noted that the holding of such events will serve to further increase the industrial capacity of enterprises in sectors and regions of the economy, support the production of import substitutes, increase localization and promotion of national brands, and further strengthen the inter-sectoral industrial cooperative relations between individuals operating in the economy sector.
