Regional inter-sectoral industrial fair was held in Fergana region

On June 9-10, 2022, the regional inter-industry fair was held at the Samo Sports Complex in Fergana, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the municipality of Fergana region and the Digital Transformation Center.

The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of the Fergana region Khairullo Bozarov, the First Deputy Minister of investment and foreign trade Aziz Voitov, heads of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and media representatives.

The Fair was attended by more than 1,800, including 730 industries and 1,130 regional manufacturing enterprises, and featured textile and Silk processing, leather-footwear, furniture making, as well as products from the oil and gas industry. Also participating were Enterprises producing electrical power, electrical engineering, chemical industry, building materials and pharmaceutical products.

Within the framework of this fair, 779 cooperation agreements were concluded with a total of 272.4 billion soums through the Electronic cooperative portal of the Digital Transformation Center, as well as 14 memoranda of 10,916.67 million soums between small businesses and private entrepreneurs who expressed a desire to produce import substitutes.

At the same time, during the fair, presentations of projects aimed at increasing industrial potential in networks and regions, meetings and negotiations with local producers and investors from neighboring countries in the format of B2B were also held.

The purpose of holding this event is to further increase the industrial potential of the economic sectors and regional enterprises, stimulate the production of import substitutes, expand localization, and further strengthen the inter-sectoral industrial cooperation relations between the economic sectors and regional enterprises.
