Regional inter-sectoral industrial fair was held in Namangan region

On may 26-27, 2022, the regional inter-industry fair was held at the Barkamal generation sports complex in Namangan city, organized by the Ministry of investment and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the municipality of Namangan region and the Digital Transformation Center.

At the opening ceremony of this event, the governor of Namangan region Sh. Abdurazzakov, deputy presidential advisor G. Saidova, leaders of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and media representatives took part.

It should be noted that more than 1000 entrepreneurs and more than 350 regional production enterprises took part in the fair, including enterprises specializing in the production of products for national brands of industrial products, textile, leather-footwear, food and furniture industries.

It should be noted that within the framework of the Fair held, a total of 497.03 billion dollars were received through the Digital Transformation Center. 507 cooperation agreements were concluded, as well as 529.5 million between small businesses and private businesses, which expressed a desire to produce import substitutes. 9 memoranda of sum were signed.

It should be noted that a number of reforms are being introduced in the chapter on the development of entrepreneurship in our country, the creation of a healthy competitive environment. In its place, of course, it is of great importance to support domestic manufacturers, promote national brands and achieve the strengthening of their position in the international arena, which is an integral part of economic development.

Therefore, the main goal of holding regional inter – sectoral industrial fairs, which are part of the development chain, is to promote the latest technologies and developments in the industry, establish new business relations, conclude agreements and, as a result, implement new projects for industrial cooperation.
