Bukhara hosted a regional intersectoral industrial fair

On April 13-14, 2023, a regional inter-sectoral industrial fair organized by the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Bukhara Regional Government and the Digital Transformation Center was held in Bukhara. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the governor of Bukhara region, Botir Zaripov, heads of industrial and financial companies, entrepreneurs, and mass media representatives. 1,670 enterprises, including 97 industry and 1,573 regional production enterprises, took part in the fair. Innovations in the field of construction materials, textiles, oil and gas industry, agricultural and water economy products, tourism and cattle breeding were presented there. Also, pharmaceutical, furniture and chemical industry manufacturing enterprises took part in the event. A total of 1,658 cooperation agreements worth 896.9 billion soums were concluded within the framework of the fair through the Electronic Cooperation Portal of the Digital Transformation Center. At the same time, 52 memorandums worth 63.1 billion soums were signed between small businesses and private business entities that expressed their desire to produce import-substituting products. Instead, during the fair, thematic presentations were held by experts of the Digital Transformation Center. In it, the main e-commerce platforms operating in Uzbekistan "Tradeuz.com", "Unisavdo.uz", "Mato.uz" with the procedure of registration of small and medium business entities and the functions of the trading platform (marketplaces) was introduced. Familiarization trips to "Bukhara Varnet" LLC (steel constructions for greenhouses) and "WBM Romitex" (yarn weaving), as well as B. Naqshband handicraft center, located in Bukhara district, were organized for the participants and guests of the fair.
